TRANSPORTATION
there will be shuttles saturday night. shuttles will arrive at the beach club at 9:15 to take people to the squire. shuttles will be available until 11:30 to take people back to their hotels / airbnbs as needed.
drive a car to the beach club, but want to take advantage of the shuttles? No problem! Your car can be left overnight in beach club parking (see parking information below).
There are taxis and ubers, but not plentiful.

there isn’t a lot of parking so please carpool or take a taxi/uber. for parking options, please refer to the awesome map for guidance. pink heart is where the event is. do not park where there is red, you can park where there is green: along stage harbor road waterside, along champlain road waterside and port fortune lane.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
friday night
wear your favorite causal coastal outfit. this event is primarily outside by the water on a dock, so bring a jacket and no stiletto heels
saturday night
colorful cocktail (but don’t overthink it). be yourself, everyone else is taken! the evening will be inside & outside, so don’t forget a jacket
WHAT TO DO & EAT?
A few of our favorite eat & drink spots: impudent oyster (sit at the bar!), squire, or del mar for dinner. mac’s or chatham fish pier market for seafood. elwoods for oysters. chatham cookware or chatham cheese shop for sandwiches. snowy owl or three fins for coffee. a cocktail on the chatham bars in lawn. hanger b eatery or filling station for breakfast. corner store for burritos (lunch and breakfast).
A few of our favorite activities. walk around main street and check out the shops (more of jane activity), walk lighthouse beach or harding beach all the way down to stage harbor light. watch the fishing boats come in and seals on the chatham fish pier market platform. outside of chatham: watch the waves at nauset beach or get a sweet treat at the chocolate sparrow in orleans. go to devil’s purse brewery or hog island beer co.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE?
chatham is typically 60 degrees in october, but gets chilly at night! friday night will be primarily outside and saturday will be mostly inside. dress accordingly. fingers crossed for no rain!
ARE KIDS WELCOME?
kids are welcome on friday night. our one year celebration, on saturday, will be an adults-only evening. jane is happy to help find childcare.
WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH THE AFTER PARTY?
we’ll continue the party at the chatham squire - a local bar with a lot of history. shuttles will be provided from chatham beach and tennis club. shuttles will arrive at 9:15 and be available till 11:30 to get you home safe!
WHAT IS THE DEAL WITH SATURDAY MORNING?
saturday morning is a totally optional way to start your day. park at lighthouse beach and walk down for coffee and pastries. there will be a group cold plunge in the atlantic (aka cold!) led by jane's siblings - they are pros! rain or shine.
WHAT FOOD WILL BE SERVED?
friday night, there will be fresh, local oysters and hot dogs from a food truck. saturday night, there will be no formal sit down dinner; there will be ample passed apps and food stations.
